ACHTUNG! If you're reading this article, most likely you're a fan of Company of Heroes 2 and are looking for strategies to use with the Oberkommando West (henceforth referred to as OKW). Today's guide will cover the fallschirmjäger squad's usefulness in a Luftwaffe OKW army. We will cover scenarios, pros and cons, and maximum usage of the unit itself. More after the break.
By request, I have decided to upload an LP series of Dark Souls 2 using available mods leading up to the release of the DX11 version. I, Travis (LQD_Consecrated), will be joined by friends Allan and Jair as they attempt to play Dark Souls for their first time. I will NOT be playing in this serious....so anticipate multiple fails and tons of rage....
You can follow progress of the series below
As some people may know, I'm a huuuuuge fan of the Wolfenstein series. Especially RTCW. This was the 2nd PC fps game I ever played (after Rogue Spear) and it has a special place in my heart as a fun, but stupid, shooter that still hangs on to its roots. Developed by a sister studio of id software, Gray Matter Interactive (well, the SP anyway), RTCW is a fast paced shooter developed using a modified id tech 3. It's a great game if you like fast paced, exploration based shooters, though the story was initially criticized coming off of Valve's Half Life.
But that's a discussion for another time, today I'd like to show you some quick tips to get RTCW working in HD on your PC. Let's begin...

Dark Souls 2 is a game that deserves to be modded- after all, I've covered modding the game before. However, getting it all to work together without any guides can be difficult. I've sat down and worked on the mods and have come out victorious, with a (imo) simple way to get all 3 mods to work together. You can watch the video above on our channel for a simple walk through on how to get all 3 working.
It's finally out- the first DLC pack for Dark Souls 2, Crown of the Sunken King, is now available for Xbox 360, PS3, and most importantly Steam. I've put together a quick video that I think captures the feeling of the DLC pretty well. If you're still on the fence, I'll have a review out soon to express my opinions on the expansion. Until then, enjoy :)
So, some of us here at TeamLQD have caught the Dark Souls bug, and if you've ever looked at my first big piece I wrote on the souls series, then you'll know I'm a huge fan. But, the newest entry in the game is not without its flaws, particularly the graphics department. Today we'll take a look at my mods of choice and how to get them running and looking good.
Happy New Year! It's been almost 2 months since my last blog but I'm ready to get back to gaming! Today's topic: Dungeon Keeper Gold from GOG.com On Valentine's Day, EA paired up with GOG to release Dungeon Keeper for the 14th and 15th. Well, a whole new generation now has a chance to experience it, and since I couldn't find any other articles with a full break down, I'll make my own! So let's dig in....
Quake- if there was ever a "mascot" for pc gaming, it's Quake. Around since the dawn of 3d graphics, Quake revolutionized 3d virtual space with fast paced action and fully realized worlds. Many would go on to imitate it's appeal, but none would ever match it. So with the Steam holiday sale going on, what better time to buy it? The whole series is 50% off meaning for a couple bucks you can pick them up and get plenty of game time out of them! But hold on there pal, these games are precious relics that need some, adjusting, to our modern operating systems and PCs. Well, thankfully multiple modders and communities have lasted through the decades to make our lives easier. Let's dig in and look at each title individually to understand how to get them working properly.
